30 Years of Delivering Reliable Internet Connectivity to the Madison Area
As you've just witnessed, 30 years in "Internet Years" is quite dramatic.
From being amused by a "Dancing Baby" or a guy acting out Starwars — to banking, cyber security, online education, zoom meetings, learning about the arts, buying event tickets, allowing city utilities to monitor in "real-time", paying bills, fiber networks, A.I. and deep fakes, it is hard to imagine a part of our everyday life that is not touched by the Internet.
And today, having Internet connectivity is no longer a luxury but a necessity. Supranet's commitment to the Madison community continues as we strive to help achieve the next phase of the Internet — inclusivity. Working with developers and the City, our goal is to help reduce the digital divide by providing affordable, reliable, fiber Internet access to non-profit organizations, city entertainment venues, students and lower income households.
We've spent 30 years updating and enhancing our infrastructure and partnerships in the Madison area to be in the position to make this goal a reality.
